Hi! I’m Brenda. I’ve been fascinated by family history and photos since a young age. Over the years, I compiled numerous photo albums and scrapbooks of my own photos, as well as generational photos I inherited from my parents. Today, we are fortunate to have more advanced and beautiful ways to preserve memories, with high-quality reproductions, digitization, and thoughtfully designed memory books. It’s such a joy to pass our stories down for generations to come.
I’ve seen first hand photos that have been tucked away in non-archival albums, shoeboxes, or even frames that gradually fade and damage them over time. After recent floods, fires, and storms, we know natural disasters are a very possible threat to our precious memories.
